SUMMARY:HH presents Esmerine (Constellation Records) + Iva Bedlam
DESCRIPTION:Après une année sabbatique\, Honest House reprend du service et a le grand plaisir d’accueillir Esmerine\, un groupe du mythique label canadien Constellation Records (Godspeed You ! Black Emperor\, Do Make Say Think\, Thee Silver Mt. Zion…). \n\n𝐄𝐬𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 \nEsmerine a été co-fondé par le percussionniste Bruce Cawdron (Godspeed You! Black Emperor) et la violoncelliste Rebecca Foon (Thee Silver Mt. Zion\, Saltland) en 2001\, peu de temps après que les deux se soient rencontrés lors de l’enregistrement du premier album de Set Fire To Flames\, Signs Reign Rebuilder.\nLe cinquième album d’Esmerine pour Constellation – et le septième au total – est sorti en septembre 2022. Intitulé ‘Everything Was Forever Until It Was No More’\, l’album est la dernière pièce du triptyque d’exploration du groupe sur ce que signifie vivre à travers l’anthropocène. Lost Voices explore ce qui est « perdu »: les langues\, les cultures\, les espèces et les écosystèmes.
